Deacon John Abulag will be ordinated on Saturday May 22, 2021 at Cathedral of St. Raymond Cathedral in Joliet.  He will become an official priest to serve our Deaf Ministry of the Diocese of Joliet. More information to come...

Deacon Ralph Hinch (94) passed away last Monday.

Chicago Catholic Office of the Deaf

With sadness, but trusting in the promise of "New Life in Jesus Christ", we announce the death of DEACON RALPH HINCH. Ralph died Monday afternoon, 3/23, at home surrounded by his family. He did NOT die because of the Coronavirus. Because of the rules for the State of Illinois and the Archdiocese of Chicago, we will NOT have a funeral Mass at this time.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, March 28th, 10am. There will be a funeral service for Deacon Ralph for family only. We will LIVE STREAM the service from the funeral home. The link is:
